Career - VOIP Engineer Ast Manager

Responsibilities:
  • Provide VoIP related engineering and operational support, both strategic and tactical
  • Monitor and identify capacity, quality, and performance issues for VoIP traffic to ensure continued, uninterrupted operation of telephony systems.
  • Performs analysis of maintenance failures, research trends, causes of failures, and recommend solutions to avert future failures.
  • Perform, and troubleshoot, on all voice services for all LAN and WAN hardware modules, and configure appropriate media modules.
  • Keep up to date with developments in technology, particularly related to SIP based technology, Session Border Controllers, IP Interconnect, NGN based platforms (Softswitch, Centralized Routing Engine) and UC/Collaboration technologies.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent from a reputable university with a minimum GPA of 3.00
  • Strong understanding of SIP Network requirements, functions, technology, protocols, SIP Interconnect Framework, and IP Voice fundamentals.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of NGN technology as applied to Session Border Controllers, SIP Proxys, Softswitches and Centralized Routing Engines
  • Proven ability to define solutions to meet customer/ network requirements and conduct impact analysis required for implementation.
  • Experience integrating VoIP and/or Unified Communications solutions an advantage.
